Secret Santa's come to town (cont'd)

When I can write riddles for a teammate's Secret Child, I sure have to write few for my own Secret Child... So here are few I wrote for her...

Secret Santa's come to town
To turn your day upside down
When you find your gift, don't look around
Coz I'd have left, not to be found

Tomorrow's gift won't be a breeze
You've got to solve the riddle, and find it with ease

It's spice and rice, all done up and nice
Make sure you don't carry lunch, I'm sure your gift will suffice.

This was more to ensure she didn't carry lunch the next day, coz I was about to give her a biryani for her gift (I'd found out that she's fond of spicy food, especially biryani).

The following day, I left the biryani with her teammate Priyanka, and sent her this clue.

She shares her name with a famous Miss World
It's at her desk you'll find your gift unfurled

I'll make it easy, I'll give you a clue
She's dressed today in a greyish hue.

Solve the clue before it's one
And if you do, you have a gift to be won!

Needless to say, she loved the gift. :) The final day was tougher, as she wasn't in office, and I was going on leave the next day for 15 days. So I gave her gift to someone else and also a clue from there to figure out who I was. :) Her first clue

Your final clue is on it's way
When you get your gift, hope it makes your day :)

"She's sweet and simple

When she smiles, she gets a dimple

Her name means 'soft'
But she isn't Lara Croft

She comes from Mysore
The city you go on tour

She has Shiva in her name
And there's also Shankar

She sits sits in the bay in front of  the lift
When you get to her desk, she'll give you your gift"

Once she got to the right person, she received this clue that led her to me. :)

Within this envelope is your last clue
And when you solve it, I will meet you.

Inside the envelope was a sheet with the clue

I hope you've enjoyed the journey thus far
Here's your final clue, I hope it ain't bizarre

"I'm found deep down on the ocean bed
'Best worn around the neck', is what is often said"

Here's hoping she enjoyed solving the riddles as much as I did creating them :)

Merry Christmas!
HO HO HO
